Huawei has not yet responded to this, but there are currently no plans to apply HarmonyOS to overseas smartphones, as reported by local media outlet Jiemian. Overseas consumers can continue to use Android applications with confidence on Huawei phones running EMUI, the previous Android-derived operating system, the report added.
